Our Rating: Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Eliminate or significantly reduce nuisance barking with this anti-bark dog collar. The system combines patented Spraylogik technology with proven behavior-modification techniques, providing an effective way to redirect pets away from not only excessive barking, but also other unwanted behaviors such as digging, jumping on the counter, and leaving the yard. Its patented Spraylogik technology delivers a harmless burst of citronella spray that interrupts the pet’s behavior. Both humane and effective, the spray works on four out of the five senses; dogs hear it, see it, feel it, and smell it. Citronella is a unique scent that most pets don’t normally encounter. It’s non-offensive to humans yet unusual enough to distract pets and interrupt the unwanted behavior.
Twice as effective as electric shock, the training process occurs instantaneously and without pain. Shock and ultra-sonic products attempt to reduce barking with pain. In addition to being less effective than spray, pain often increases anxiety and aggression and makes some behavior problems worse. The anti-bark dog collar can be used with any breed of dog that weighs 6 pounds or more and is at least 6 months old. It is not recommended, however, for anxiety-related barking unless specifically directed by a behavior professional.

The anti-bark dog collar system includes a 24-inch adjustable nylon collar with a quick-snap buckle; an attachable spray device with an “on/off” switch; a 3-ounce can of stain-free, hypoallergenic citronella spray; a 6-volt alkaline battery, and detailed instructions. The system carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Product Description
If you want to stop your dog’s excessive barking effectively without hurting him with a shock collar, try this Gentle Spray Citronella Anti-Bark Collar. Electric shock and ultra-sonic products attempt to redirect behaviors with pain. In addition to being less effective, pain may actually increase anxiety and aggression and make some behavior problems worse. The Gentle Spray Anti-Bark Collar is a much more humane and effective nuisance barking solution, delivering a harmless burst of citronella to interrupt your dog’s barking. Your dog will quickly and painlessly learn that there is a consequence for barking. He should completely assimilate to the collar within a few days. This harmless spray conditions your dog to behave properly by working on four of his five senses: he hears it, feels it, sees it and smells it.

I’ve had my dog for almost 3 years now and I will admit he’s not very social, especially to other dogs. I would always dread taking him for walks because he would just make SUCH a ruckus. He would back and scream bloody murder if even the dog was on the other side of the street. Well imagine this 6 o’clock in the morning when the whole neighborhood is asleep. I’m sure you could imagine the embarrasement. Well I got this collar last week and I swear it’s been a miracle. I’m kicking myself in the a## for not buying this collar earlier.

The first time he barked, he was startled out of his mind. The second time, same reaction. The third time, he just barked once, then kept quiet once the spray went off. Now he doesn’t even bark. You could tell he wants to, but just knows the consequences. Words can’t explain how thrilled I am to have purchased this collar. Now I’m saving up to purchase the one with the remote. That way I can use it when I get home and he’s screaching, waking up the neighborhood, and announcing my arrival.

One thing to keep in mind is that this collar does not work for high pitched screaching like my dog does when I get home. Hence the reason for buying the one with the remote. Oh, and for those wondering if it will work on your small dogs, it will. My dog is a chihuahua/pomeranian mix.

We are very happy with the citronella bark collars. We have three dogs, all are terriers and they can get into a bark-fest. These collars have worked wonders, and are truly humane– they work without pain. I wouldn’t use one of the shock collars. They are not “humane”- they shock and they hurt! If you don’t believe me, put it on your own neck and give it a try. I have seen dogs with burns on their necks from those. (As an aside, yes, I tried this citronella collar too. I let it spray me full in the face. Not pleasant, but not painful.) If you love your dog, try this method. BTW, don’t buy the expensive replacement batteries here. They are a standard size and can be obtained at any Walgreens, Target, etc for around $3.

This review is from: P. Stoika

This collar worked great for my smart and trainable long-haired German Shepherd — effectively re-trained her barking behavior, and we quickly got to the point where she didn’t need it any more. I also loaned it to a friend with a very spirited Golden Retriever, and it has worked well for their dog, although she continues to need to wear it most of the time even after a year. My mother tried it with her keeshonds, who are the most stubborn dogs I’ve ever met, and it really didn’t work with them, even when she made adjustments for their thick fur. Of course, those dogs are pretty behaviorally challenging, and a strong shock-collar has only been moderately effective for them. So … for a spirited but reasonably compliant dog, it has seemed to work well, but for more stubborn dogs, the barking challenge may go on and on.

Personalized collar brings your cat back home

No matter how your lovely feline looks satisfied curling up in its rag, it still loves to walk around and wander especially when it sees an open door. Although sometimes it has no intention of running away, a sight of something unfamiliar, strange footsteps, a passing car or a slamming door causes it to panic and frantically dash in any direction away from the perceived imminent danger. Often, this will cause your cat to be disoriented and lose its way home. In this case, a personalized cat collar is the best thing you have provided for your lovable pet.

Cat collars are more than just a lovely accessory to make your cuddly pet doubly adorable. A cat with a collar signals to the other people that the cat belongs to someone. When the cat wanders in the street or in someone else’s backyard, the collar will keep other people from catching it or keeping it for themselves or even bringing them to animal shelters. They know instantly that the cat is someone else’s pet.

This is the reason to personalize your cat’s collar. As anybody that sees your cat know it has a home, use the collar as the identification tag of your pet. There are a number of ways to personalize this tag and make it easily recognizable. Establishing the identity of your pet and linking it to you will ensure the speedy return of your beloved pet.

One way is to choose a collar that does not just look great on your pet but also reflects your personality. In this way, closer neighbors who know you would easily distinguish or easily relate the look to your individuality. It would also greatly help if they are in bright colors to make them more visible. Cat collars are available in a wide variety of colors, sizes, styles and designs. You will have plenty of options to choose from. There are also different materials to consider. You could choose from nylon, leather or cloth collars. They are good choices because of their flexibility and durability. Metal collar is also an option however, bear in mind that your pet’s neck is rather delicate.

More importantly, personalized collar must contain your name and your contact number to easily lead the people who found your cat to you. It is also the best place to hang lost and found records or even cat licenses or information about vaccines for rabies or diseases. Of course, there are other ways to attach identification to your pet such as tattoos or microchips but compared with a collar, they are more expensive or even invasive. Personalized cat collar is still your best choice, not just to accessorize your beloved feline but also to easily lead it home if ever it gets astray.

Cute collars for adorable dogs

In the practical sense, a dog collar’s main function is to identify that it belongs to someone when it goes astray. Because of this, it will not be brought to the pound by mistake. Most importantly, the tag that contains the important information about its owner, the owner’s address and contact number and the dog’s name could be hang at the collar at the front of the neck. In case your dog gets lost and fails to find its way home, other people who will find your beloved pet could easily contact you. This could provide you the peace of mind in knowing that even if your pet goes astray, it could be brought back easily and speedily.

However, recent fads and trends call dog owners and pet lovers to go beyond the functionality and practicality of the collar by designing it in varied ways. All pampered dogs nowadays sport a cute collar. Most especially the celebrities with pet dogs often parade their pets in recent fashion, sometimes even matching the owner’s clothes with the dog’s collar.

There are a multitude of materials to choose from in pursuit of the cute dog collar that you wish for your pet. They also come in assorted colors, fabrics and materials. There are also nylon and leather collars. Some comes with ribbons, bows, lace or other designs. There are also elegant, chic, sporty or lavish collars. Some could even have jewels, spikes or metal fittings. Others could be custom made with Swarovski crystals, pearls, rhinestone or other similar trimmings.

If you want to raise your search for that cute collar to a higher level, there are internet sites that offer customized dog collars. You will have the freedom to mix and match colors, fabrics or materials. You can also choose from different designs from plaid, polka dots, stripes or other patterns.

Excessive Barking Problems: Reasons Why Dogs Bark and How to Correct Bad Barking Habits

Dogs bark, and that’s normal. It is part of their natural communication and behavior. Dogs can bark for good and useful reasons such as when some strangers approach your house, when they hear odd noises, or when they are herding animals. Most of the time we want our dogs to be “watch dogs” and alert us to anything suspicious. But dogs can also bark inappropriately. In some scientific surveys of dog owners, about 1/2 of them confirmed that their dogs barked unnecessarily. To control your dog’s barking Petsafe bark collar is what you need.

Why Do Dogs Bark?

Barking is basically a form of communication between dogs and other canine species. When they are young puppies, they make a soft sound when searching for comfort, warmth or food. However when hurt and afraid, they make louder crying sounds. However when they grow older they make five main types of sounds for communication. They are as follows: barking, growling, grunting, howling, and whining. Sometimes they abuse their freedom of communication by uselessly and excessively bark around or howl at nothing but the moon. But Petsafe bark collar can correct these bad habits of your dog.

Barking is the most commonly used method of communication of dogs, which for humans sometimes can be annoying when in excess. Some dogs bark at trees, at shadows, at walls, or at toys. Especially at night where birds make odd sounds, dogs bark the whole night away with no regard for their master’s sleep. The solution for this is simple. Petsafe bark collar can do the training of your dog to be quiet and discourage fun barking even when you are and even when not around your home.

Howling is a method of long-range communication to declare territory boundaries and sometimes to locate other family members. Usually associated with wolves, howling is a normal activity by dogs too, which can be very annoying at night when you are trying to get some rest.

Growling can occur in different situations. Dogs growl to threaten, warn, when in defense, in aggression, and to show dominance and bravery. But growling can also used in play as well. By looking at body posture we can tell the difference. Growls during aggression are accompanied by a stare or snarl, and the growling dog often remains motionless. Play-growls occur in combination with a wiggly tail and a play bow to signal willingness to play. These dogs are often moving and jumping about to entice play.

Grunts in dogs are the equivalent of contented sighs in humans. They can also be heard when dogs are greeting each other or people.

Whines or whimpers are short, medium-range modes of communication. Dogs whine when they are showing submissiveness, are frustrated or in pain, and to obtain attention.

Petsafe bark collar is efficient, safe, and fast when it comes to correcting your dog’s excessive and useless barking habit. Now you can sleep sound at night, and so are your neighbours.

Bark Collars for Dogs; Training Your lovable Pet the Easy Way

Living with a dog who barks excessively would make you dream of a solution when you sleep. That is, if you can get any sleep.

Loud and excessively barking dogs are among the major scourges of city life, and bark collar for dogs are usually the best and quickest solution. When you got neighbors and animal control officers complaining about your best friend’s bad habit when you are away from home, bark collar for dogs would be the key to avoid court fines and the possibility of losing your pet. They are effective either when you’re home or not, and dogs require this kind of constant reinforcement to develop good attitude and distinguish it from bad.

Bark collars for dogs can do no harm to your pet, but they do dissuade it from barking at everything from shadows to postmen to falling leaves. Training dogs to be quiet on your own takes many hours, patience, and considerable knowledge of what you’re doing. These collars are more effective with less training time than conventional training, and require less work from both you and your dog. Even when you are not with the dog, the bark collar never stops working.

Your dog won’t spend hours thinking about what it is that you want from him when he’s got a bark collar to tell him immediately. Dogs quickly associate the relationship between their barking habit and the corrective measures taken by the bark collar. After a day or two, he would bark only when he sees something of high importance—like when someone suspicious is coming, like your Spanish speaking gardener for example.

Different types of these collars work in different ways. Some bark collar devices are attachable to your pet’s existing collar, and can weigh only an ounce so even miniature dogs can comfortably wear them. Look for water-resistant collars for everyday protection from rain, ponds, and hoses.

Most of the shock and ultrasonic bark collars for dogs in the market allow the owner to set the level of shock for correction, so the dog only receives what is necessary. Some feature stepped ranges of correction, and within these are automatically incrementing correction levels. The mildest correction is applied when your dog barks the first time with the collar on. The level of correction applied by the bark collar continues to increase gradually when your dog still continues to bark, until it reaches a point in which the barking is effectively discouraged. When your dog stops barking for a short period of time, the collar automatically resets to the lowest level of correction.

Teach your naughty, bark-all-around best friend some manners by buying a bark collar from one of our suppliers. Training your dog can never be easier than this, swift and harmless at the same time.

Unnecessary Dog Barking Solution

Is your lovable dog driving you nuts with his constant barking all throughout the day? Does he bark at his shadow in his dog house at night and keep you and your neighbors up? Nearly everyone has had a problem with their dog’s barking at one point or another and believe me I know the feeling. Fortunately, there are gadgets nowadays stop your dog’s unnecessary barking. They are known as dog shock collars.

Dog shock collars together with the master’s guidance, will help the dog learn when it’s okay and not okay to bark. But you should also try to understand the different possible reasons why he’s doing it. Your dog’s barking sometimes would be a good thing, just like when he barks to tell you when a suspicious person or a stranger is approaching, when things seem wrong for him, or when he’s just playing around with you. However, there are also many other times when his barking becomes an unnecessary and unwanted. For example, dogs especially puppies, bark for your attention. Other times they would keep barking when they are lonely or anxious, which is a usual side effect of separation anxiety. Other times, they just do it because they are simply bored. And with that, there is non-stop barking in your home when your dog is bored, unless you have dog shock collars.

They would also bark when they are extremely frightened or startled by something, or a loud thundering noise. Fireworks and thunderstorms are the most common things that could cause that kind of barking. Dogs also bark to identify themselves to fellow dogs, which usually happens when distant dogs in your neighborhood are barking. He wants to let his gang know that he is present in the area.

Such behaviour of pet dogs can be very consuming and irritating especially when you are trying to catch some sleep after a stressful day in the office. Although dogs are lovable friends and it is their nature to bark, you as their master have the responsibility in taking care of him and giving him discipline. Dog shock collars are proven safe and effective means of training your lovable pet and best friend to be in proper behaviour whether you are around or not. All it takes is a little effort from you to train him.

Make your life easier by buying any type of dog shock collar from our suppliers, guaranteed to produce significant results in your dog’s behaviour in a swift and safe manner.
